Clinton said: "In the first Crusade, when the Christian soldiers took Jerusalem, they first burned a synagogue with 300 Jews in it and proceeded to kill every woman and child who was a Muslim on the Temple Mount. I can tell you that story is still being told today in the Middle East and we are still paying for it."

In his ramble, it is to bad he didn't go into more detail how American involvement in the first Crusade is the root of the problem.

I think Clinton just likes to hear himself talk. He will continue to dig himself into a deeper hole with more talk and more rambling nonsense.

What did he do with his 8 years to help the situation? Rather than making the situation better with his policies, it appears that he made it a lot worse. It is definitely worse now than it was the day he took office. Could it be that he only added fuel to the fire with his attacks on aspirin factories and empty training camps?

I rank Clinton's expertise in world affairs up there with Barbara Streisand and Madonna. He is nothing more than a pop culture icon.

History may not be as generous as I in judging his expertise.
