Apples and Oranges

Okay, truce?

I KNOW what you are talking about, and I agree up to a POINT. It's like arguing about apples and oranges, when they both are considered just "fruit".

"Karma" is not instantaneous. If it was, people like Rush Limbaugh should have been run over by a Mac truck YEARS ago.
What I took umbrage with, was your statement that Fisk deserved this, and that it was due to the frequency relationship with his own hatred (which to me is just his viewpoint).
You seemed rather PLEASED he had been stoned, which shows me YOUR bias.

Back to "frequency relationship", that like attracts like, etc.
What ever happened to "opposites attract"?
I think in Fisk's case the fact he was saved by an Islamic leader is more memorable than the fact he was stoned.
If I follow your line of thinking, then any young woman who gets raped or beaten while out for her evening walk, DESERVED it, .....makes your whole philosophy a bit risky.

Mind you, I have often wondered about "karma" and if it exists. People who get cancer........do they DESERVE it??
Is it because of the way they think?
Or could they be predisposed to it through genetics or exposure?
Are their genetics or exposure karmic?
You see ,we get into multiple layers of these things.

>"Well Mr. Fisk's body (as well as our own) emanates signals constantly. These waves interface people and things around them. They are just as real and just as invisible as the TV signals which are passing through your body at this very moment."

I UNDERSTAND this, perhaps more than most.
But he was in a dangerous place to begin with.
Had I been there as well, it could have happened to me.
Because I don't agree with some of our foreign policies (mostly CIA-related), does this mean I deserve to be stoned?
SDAI, if we follow your reasoning, then WE got what WE deserved, at the WTC AND the Pentagon.
Because of frequency relationship!!

>"So Mr. Fisk is obsessed with US/UK's 'inhumanity' - and views the Afghans as victims. These signals are off balanced - as clearly demonstrated by his ranting and raving article."

Yes, he was ranting....but now and again, many writers do it expressing an opinion.
I spent several hours last night talking with a British soldier who had fought in the Gulf War, Bosnia and Northern Ireland. And he sees the world through the same eyes as I do.
And he wasn't really into bombing the whole of Afganistan or other countries looking for "terrorists". Now, because he doesn't really agree with current American policies, should he deserve to get shot or stoned next time he's in "battle"?
Perhaps, I'm not making myself clear here.

You say one thing, then ignore the other.......YOUR BIAS.
And frankly, that was where this whole argument started.
Personal bias.

Hitler had one too.
Hitler HATED too, and he was a megalomaniac.
What punishment did his "hatred" bring upon himself?
He killed MILLIONS, and ended up taking his own life as he realized his number was up.
He was a coward.

>"Yes. Opinion is just as real and just as powerful as many actions."

SO!
Whose opinion is right? And who's opinion is wrong?
There are a lot of people agreeing with Bin Laden.
We judge him to be wrong, but how many see him as right?
They're all spiraling together in their little frequency relationship.

>"Hate, even just existing as thoughts - interfaces with those around us and influences everyone negatively. "

I agree with you COMPLETELY on this one.
Thought is everywhere, and IS everything.
Consciousness and desire could be the mysterious glue that holds our Universe together.
