Dennis has a good point...if Instant Karma really worked, there are a lot of people who would be toads right now. The typical back-off position for this objection is that they will be toads "in their next life," but that's neither here nor there for the life we and the bastards of this world are living now.
I doubt it would have been much consolation for the Jews entering the gas chambers to know that Hitler was going to be a planarian worm after he died.
