Chernobyl?

Tom, You seem to be saying that we shouldn't fear radiation fallout from a nuclear exhange between Pakistan and India. You site Nagasaki and Hiroshima as examples of cities that recovered from a nuclear attack. We are talking two countries here. What is the total yeild of the arsenals of Pakistan and India compared to that of little boy and fat man?

What about Chernobyl? Why is it a ghost town? What is the difference between an above ground detination and a core meltdown in terms of how lethal the radiation is.
Or is it simply a matter of Economics?
