The Big Picture

Hello SDAI.
Your comments were appreciated and make good points. But we sit on opposite sides of the fence, and just like conservatives nail Clinton for his oval office indiscretions, the liberals nail Bush for his subversive tactics. THIS will never change.

>Why on earth did President Clinton not break these horribly corrupt Saudi ties if he felt the Royal family was somehow supportive of two attacks on US interests - during HIS TWO terms in office?

Because Clinton, like Reagan, was a puppet...who tried to keep the financial FORCES that support the Oval office HAPPY. Not to mention the CIA and all their cronies in the defense department....business is just too good. And Clinton was COMPROMISED..a long time ago.

>And if FBI agents felt their investigation was being obstructed - these would be investigations going on while the Cllinton Administration was in full power.
>Surely you do not believe that Bush, who was yet to be elected Texas Governor, could thwart the FBI investigators...all the way from Texas.

No, but the CIA and NSA RUN the country and if any President goes against their standing policies they are risking assassination. Bush's fathers ties to the CIA are stronger than they've ever been. And it's under the umbrella of national security.
If we were allowed to see the historical timelines of our foreign policy in the middle east since Reagan "won" the election from Carter, we would see and understand things a little differently.
Conveniently now, we are not allowed to know these things. Bush made that his first land grab when he was inaugerated. We liberals and conspiracy theorists knew EXACTLY what he was doing, his Pappy told him to do it!

>A guilty, guilty, man FEARS all the agencies devoted to law and order.

I agree that Clinton and Reno abused their power, but are you telling me the Bush family hasn't?
There will be NO justice allowed in Bush's New World Order.
Only that which HE sees fit.
They're tossing out the Constitution and implementing their OWN BRAND of "law of order".

>Bush-bashing is simply the last resort of the left .

I didn't particularly like Clinton either. Actually, I think most politicians suck.

>Bin Laden resented the US forces present in Saudi Arabia - which puts him at opposition with the Royal Family who believe it is in their best interests to allow a US presence.

Sure, and then he ws BACKED by us in Afganistan, we paid to train and arm his freedom fighters. What kind of a message does that send to his family in Saudi Arabia who are chilling with the US oil interests??

>In your view...are all US holders of Saudi companies stock 'selling out the USA' to terrorists?

No, but the oil interests are paramount. Perhaps we should be looking in other directions to lessen our need for all this Middle East oil?? Then we wouldn't have to get in and fight for our share and change alliances like underwear and send flowers to the whores.
