Are you under the impression that the only material harmful to the nation is that which is "classified"? The way espionage works is a bit at a time. It's a shell and puzzle game, which attempts to build on another's knowledge. The main pieces to the puzzle may or may not be classified, where the binding glue generally is not.
Yes. I believe sealing the White House from casual examination to be a good idea.
