The Clinton Administration never turned over those task force minutes because of executive priviledge. If Democrats don't want to be hypocrits all their life, then they need to admit that what's legal for them is also legal for Republicans. Sure, like that will ever happen.
Suppose we turn it around. What do you think the reaction would be if the Executive branch demanded the minutes of every congressional meeting, including those with lobbyists? Simple - Congress would tell them to go pound sand and they'd be right. The Constitutional separation of powers is the issue here. I hope this does go to the Supreme Court. If it does and if they follow their own precedent, Congress will get slapped down and Waxman made to look like the partisan idiot he really is.
