I only g0t so far as the Ted Turner turned the world into a satellite linked 'global village' - and then I became disgusted at the university writers who still cling to such preposterous labels.
The villages aint here in the US. I haven't seen a village anywhere in the US. I have seen towns and hamlets and burgs - but no da-n villages!
Leave the thirdworld, primative collective socialist commune imagery where it belongs (Hillary's book)and give us all a break.
Ted Turner's an a--. He's now unhappy he has far less power at AOL/TIME and only money to throw around.
And Bush is just driving these folks crazy. (None have been invited to the Lincoln Bedroom in over a year!!!!)
On another note, my niece was the only one, in her pre-school class who knew that the current President was George Bush - you can imagine how proud I am of her. The next closest said George Washington. No one even mentioned Clinton! (How glorious!) Appears the 24/7 indoctrination is paying off!
Perhaps there IS hope for the future!
