Most of my friends tend toward the libertarian, and Richard Nixon, the pragmatist, is no great hero to libertarians. Remember wage-price controls?
Remember, I'm a Republican primarily to keep the current crop of Democrats (which have little in common with the Democrats of Kennedy's time) from turning this nation into a poverty-stricken welfare state. It's not because I agree with everything Republican.
