How would "Islamic News Agencies" have access to the encircled El Qaeda fighters?

It defies logic: How would reporters
from "Islamic News Agencies" have access to the body counts, since surviving El Qaeda forces are surrounded?

I don't understand how they would get the info they claim they have.

If 101st Airborne, 10th Mountain Division and SF personnel have brought back reports of 450 dead, they're alot
closer to those corpses and bodyparts than any Islamic 'journalists'.
So if they say 450 dead, it's probably a more accurate estimation than that made by the far-off Islamic journalists.
