IMO I am generous to compare the state of psychiatric medicine to surgery and internal medicine a hundred years ago. Half the mental health professionals are clueless and do as much harm as they do good.

Until we know more, the fate of people that commit horrendous acts against children can't be trusted to individuals that are but slightly more reliable that the Psychic Hot Line.
