Question
When you say you detest loyalty oaths of any kind, does that include things like taking an oath of office? After all, everyone from a new military enlistee through members of Congress and the President swear an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic." Couldn't that be considered a loyalty oath?
Just checking, after all, whenever someone makes an absolute statement like you just did, it often is because they didn't consider the full impact of their statement.
