<"Conservative talk show hosts who have been complaining for years about the steady creep of "normalization" of previously taboo acts have been making jokes about the sex-with-animals people being next in line. It's not looking that funny anymore."
Hi Tom,
That's the fundamental problem with the PC movement in general. "Diversity" is an open-ended application.
Without trying to be TOO paranoid, I can easily see the day when anything goes.
I think a line clearly needs to be drawn somewhere - but obviously as each human is differing in their level of development - common ground will be hard to find.
Homosexuality is now being classified as a "genetic variation"
It doesn't take a great leap to see that when enough people pursue an agenda, "normal" moral codes slide downhill.
Pedophilia and bestialism are probably next in line for the hunt for a "genetic" reason - and thereby a way to "geneticize" out of existence personal responsibility for one's actions, or a sense of right and wrong.
But to utter such is to be intolerant, homo-phobic, or worse. Within ten to twenty years, I could see that the terms pedo-phobic and bestia-phobic will be added to the list.
While I don't like dictating moral codes...I think science and logic and reason should be our guides.
My own scientific worldview sees homosexuality as manifested reverse-incarnated folks. Gays being female "polarities" and lesbians being male "polarities". They naturally do what many lifetimes of past experience have put into their repertoire.
But they have clearly incarnated for a learning purpose into a polarity to which they are perhaps unaccustomed to - and so I feel they should still mate gender correct (+,-).
This is probably seen as intolerant, but it is based not upon religion or some archaic codes - but rather a broader view of the consciousness & common sense.
Pedophilia and bestialism are even more unnatural and yes, increasingly degenerate expressions or manifestations of the sexual impulses.
Yet in the name of "diversity" and "individual liberty" or "freedom of expression" - any stigma they now possess may someday be removed.
With the internet accelerating "diversity" at stupendous speeds and rapidly aging 9 year olds being able to download this stuff at their local library, not to mention the legacy of the "Clinton Children" - it may happen much sooner than we think!
Chris-! Dan's right! I AM paranoid!
