I couldn't find the picture you mentioned. It is interesting that under the constant barrage of pro-Palestinian propaganda, it is becoming almost impossible to visualize the possibility of the Palestinians as combatants. I can think of a number of reasons why these officers were shot at point-blank range, not the least of which that they were trying to shoot the Israelis at point-blank range.
Does is bother anyone else that Palestinian statements are taken by the press at face value, while Israeli statements are treated with suspicion, requiring proof? Despite the fact that both statements are equally self-serving?
Weapons, illegal under Oslo accord, recovered from West Bank
The bomber that just blew up a marketplace in Jerusalem was from Jenin.
The Palestinian infrastructure set up under Oslo, with its own police force and other government arrangements, was intended to allow Arafat and his people to clean up their own terrorist problem. Instead, the entire structure became collaborators with the terrorists, and organized terrorist groups have infiltrated Palestinian territory like cancer through a body. This is the situation Israel has to deal with. Any house, and structure, any gas station in Palestinian territory could be a terrorist location. Of course, many are not. How do you tell? It's not like they put a sticker in the window.
