I think we can agree that the Israelis have invaded the Palestinian territory with something more than settlements this time. I think we can agree the Israelis are arresting people who aren't charged as individuals with a crime, simply because of their race. I think we can agree the Israelis are force in the form of military weapons and inflicting a tremendous amount of damage. I think we can agree the Palestinians are shooting at them.
Your point seems to be that when a home is invaded, THE INVADER CAN JUSTIFIABLY KILL ANYONE WHO RESISTS, because, after all, the invader is being shot at. In other words, a burglar could kill a home-owner who resisted and claim self-defense. That would mean its criminal to defend your home. I don't think you mean that. I don't want to believe you think that. (And this is, a home invasion, with many, many house invasions.) You seem to also imply that because the home invader is a soldier, the invader can define any resister as a soldier, and can do with them what they will. If you mean what you seem to say, that it's wrong to shoot someone invading your home, what would that say about you? Or is it OK to defend ones home, and to do so is called self-defense? In that case, what does that say about the Israelis? Or is the claim that the Israelis aren't invading their homes? Or that because there have been Israeli casualties, too, anything is justified? If the Israelis find themselves alone it will be because the same peoples who sympathized with them when they were brutalized will sympathize with others are brutalized by them. Arf
