The uS had a plan in place in 1979 for settling the Israeli/Palestininan conflict, and that was the Camp David Accords.

With the exception of Reagan's administration, and then only for a part of that, this has been US policy since 1948.

We got hit on September 11. 4,000 dead, $100,000,000,000 minimium econoomic loss. We didn't get hit because they hate freedom, hate other religions, etc. We got hit because Israel refuses to give up any of the settlements it has built in the West Bank and Gaza, and furthermore is just trying to string us along while it builds still more of them.

Sharon has made the issue his troops attack in the West Bank, instead of the issue being the Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
He now expects US troops to engage while he continues to build settlemetns. It is time to make the issue clear.
