"All of my investigation has led me to the position that the Palestinians have great media manipulation skills and have learned to use weakness as a strength. While I have a perverse admiration for the cleverness of this approach, I recognize good faith negotiation is not part of their world view."
I got to disagree.
I think Palestinians have lousy "media manipulation skills". I think that is one of their biggest problems. And they also have lousy leadership- which of course, doesn't help when their spokespersons are trying to sell their side of the story.
Now, perhaps these "guys" are convincing to other audiences, but I think they pretty clueless when it comes to what Americans value. Whereas the Jews, have pretty good leadership and they know how to sell what they are doing (again, at least to the American public).
And if leadership is knowing when to take advantage of an opportuny, Arafat is hopeless. He simply keeps shooting himself in the foot. So many great people over all the world have worked very hard give him a chance, and he simply wastes these opportunies. He is very similar to Fidel Castro- and look what that guy has done for his country.
Jews aren't really the problem, it's lousy stupid Palestinian leadership which is the problem.
Now, perhaps if the Jews had "somehow" imprisoned or shot all the leadership talent the Palestinian people have, then, maybe you could blame the Jews for this mess.
