Anybody want to do the legwork required to collect all of Arafat's condemnations of terrorism (in English) and promises to end it?
Arafat wants to buy time, and stop Israel from dismantling his hard-built terrorist infrastructure, and will say whatever it takes to keep the army out of his bomb factories.
There is still controversy over how many people died in Jenin. Palestinians say Israelis are hiding bodies in "mass graves" to conceal them, which seems a bit stupid, since unless the army plans to stay there forever, such graves could be easily exhumed later to reveal the truth. It's not like no one knows where they are.
