In a society which worships the dead, suicide martyrs are just like the ones going to "renew" in the Logan's Run' Carousel, explosion and all.

Kennedy was a lousy President and a petty, womanizer. Robert Kennedy was another mean and selfish SOB - but as martyrs to assassins bullets they are deified and whole industries fluorish - and have made many author's millionaires.

The same is true of Monroe, King, Lincoln and anyone else who dies unnaturally and before their time. They are cast in a heroes light.

The culture of death is a highly profitable one - as evidenced by the auctioneers who sell a deadman's comb and pocket watch for exorbitant sums to those who like to collect dead folks stuff.

Kamikaze pilots were honored and paraded before there flights. Why should suicide bombers be different?

It is the pathetic last-ditch acts of an ignorant people, whose lives are so miserable - death is not anything to fear.

The fact this father is ignorant and the daughter is just a manipulated child - is not much of a surprise - for there are 6.99 billion more where he came from, to keep him company.
