A total waste of time
One of the most legitimate gripes (imo) post-911 are the ambiguous terror alerts.
An ambiguous pre-911 alert followed by the WTC event would have set off recriminations that might have been a disaster.
Hopefully, all this BS will quiet down after the November elections. I expect one side or the other will get hammered and there will be tactical adjustments.
