Actually, at least here in California, Asian-Americans are not a favored minority of the Democratic Party and the Left. Too successful, I guess. High-scoring Asians, like whites, are (or were, before affirmative action got its style cramped) booted out from university acceptance lists in favor of other minorities. Don't know if this is true across the U.S.

True also here in MA where the brothas and sistahs formerly from the Asian landmass are very heavily into the Hi-Tech industry. But MA has no Republican party.
Meanwhile, red-headed caucasians are continually discriminated against and are the butt of jokes.
