The British tabloids are already steering the story where the Democrats want it. American headlines are more subtle, but not much.

Here's a glorious example of a Democratic politician NOT exploiting 9-11 for political gain.

...In the wake of the September 11th attacks, the issue is too important to our nation to engage in the kind of politics Mr. Fleischer is practicing.

Like Fleischer started all this.

...It is my hope that the Administration and Congress can work together to solve the critical security problems facing our nation, rather than playing the blame game.

The blame game. Good Lord, she can say that with a straight face. Of course, she could have dictated it while rolling on the floor in hysterical laughter...

Another great example from the DNC home page. It isn't going to be there long--the photo link already leads to a different set of shots.

They have a link that states: "Republicans Use September 11 Artifact for Fundraising" (the site is a bit slow in updating...they're still on last week's Bushbashing scheme)

Right underneath is a shot of Clinton raising funds in New York City.

Incidentally, if there is an investigation on our security efforts, I hope someone brings up the howls of outrage and cries of "racism" from the Democrats that have for years greeted every attempt to tighten our borders. Not to mention the gutting of the CIA and FBI.
