The USA may not be able to win this war.
If we have to telegraph every God damned thing we do to the press.
All wars are cluster phucks.
Mistakes are made and tough decisions are made that get people killed.
If every move made today is reinterpretted as a cover up or conspiracy, we will not win.
And when the SOBs whose policy is to kill us and destroy us set off a dirty nuke, or a biobomb, or even a pony nuke and kill 25,000 or 30,000 citizens and wreck a city or two, instead of dealing with and supporting our effort to carry the war to them, and to do the things that must be done to win, we will instead be jacking off in this daisy chain of mutual blame and whining.
I am disgusted.
