It's quite clear now [according to CIA/FBI interrogation of El Qaeda captives, that the WHITE HOUSE was the target of that terrorist hijacked plane,
FLIGHT 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania.
Here's the details as I remember on that terrible day.
(1) President Bush was in Louisiana, if I'm not mistaken, that fateful morning, so he was in no physical danger.
(2) Mrs. Bush, may have been in the White House, but was probably spirited
away to safety by the SECRET SERVICE, when it became clear the WTC towers were under attack.
(3) VP Dick Cheney was in the WHITE HOUSE on the morning of 9/11, but when the WTC towers were clearly understood to have been struck by terrorists, he was whisked away by SECRET SERVICE to the depths of the WHITE HOUSE building where an "Atomic-Bomb shelter" exists.
[NOTE: During the Cold War, when the White House underwent total renovation [1949-1952] during the TRUMAN administration, an A-BOMB SHELTER was
built beneath the White House.]
My question is: If FLIGHT 93 had not been prevented from reaching Washington D.C. by it's courageous passengers, and
had struck the White House, would
VP Dick Cheney have survived over 100 tons of aircraft and fuel slamming into the building overhead at 300-400 mph, causing the building's masonry and steel to collapse on top of that undergroud shelter?
