Arafat has led a coalition of shifting characters, as I understand it.
But, if Arafat's whole purpose, since he started Al Fatah, has been the eradication of Israel as a state, it really doesn't matter.
Whatever injustice occurred in the formation of Israel, the fact of Israel is real.
Dealing with reality seems to be something the Pals have little interest in.
The cultural identity of Israelis to make a Masada of the state of Israel is strong.
And they are prefectly willing to destroy a very large number of lives to do it....only this time, I do not think it will be rebellious Jews facing the awful choice of suicide or surrender.
