The attack was by the PIJ, bin Laden's supporters in Palestine, not the PA, and Sharon used it as an excuse to continue to do what he wants to do - reduce the PA so he can seize more Palestinian lands.

Sharon, Netanyahu, et al won't do anything until the US stops tolerating their activities. They will simply continue gradual seizure of more and more Palestinian lands until there is nothing left.

Most US politicians are too scared to do stand up to the Zionist faction in the US - they know what will happen to them if they do. The sad fact is, very few of them have guts enough to lead - you can take a look at the numbers and comments on the recent resolutions...

I agree with the late Itzak Rabin - Israel can seize the lands for a while, but if there is no peace, in the end the attacks will not be made with explosives or machine guns but with weapons of mass destruction, and that's what Israeli leadership should be worrying about...

Of course, these same assholes shot him...

I wish Bush Jr and his team the best of luck in dealing with the current situation. Without some kind of resolution the US economy will continue weak or worse, and the US itself will continue to be subjected to terrorist attacks. An oil embargo and attacks on US citizens traveling anywhere abroad may also come about if there is no kind of resolution...

My own thinking is that a UN deployment in force is a good part of the solution, and the US ought to simply stop standing in the way of this deployment...
