<One billion Muslims in the world, and you choose a Hizbullah leader to represent "the predominanat Arab world view"
Well, you're constantly posting the same half dozen old quotes from radical Israelis, assuming all Israelis think that way, and using them as justification for the Palestinians making kids into hamburger. What's the difference? And it's not like the leader of the Hizbullah is just some guy they pulled off the street, he has real influence on Arabs. How about a little consistency?
Anyway, the good news is that at least the Ayatollah is an environmentalist in the best nihilistic sense of the word:
In addition to such tolerance and respect for people and their lives, Fadlallah told the Daily Star, "…the same applies to nature and its resources. It is haram to cause any damage to nature." In the Third World, he said, "it is very important to spread a culture of awareness and respect for nature among them." Whereas Fadlallah has repeatedly praised, defended and justified suicide bombings against Israelis, he has, according to the Lebanese paper, "issued a number of influential fatwas on the environment, including a prohibition on littering and the burning of tires." * Therefore, the Hizbullah leader concludes, "The American attitude, which refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol, is an aggression against nature and mankind."
*unless they're around someone's neck, of course. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
