Who do they think they are, the government?
As bad as Worldcom's actions are, they still pale when compared to the massive accounting shell games played by the federal government. Any corporation that played the accounting tricks and outright fraud that the government does on a daily basis would be shut down and its officers sitting in jail cells in no time.
