An outrage is keeping it hidden until the only solution is bankruptcy. I suppose you wouldn't be so embarrassed if the matter was handled the way Enron handled it?

"Internal" auditing at WorldCom found the discrepancy and made the knowledge public. They're working on it now, and it will be painful to correct, but we're far from over.
