I can see more layoffs coming from this, but hopefully the upper tiers will see where the money is, as well as where it is not, and dump the MCI side of the house.
I checked with housekeeping this morning. Joe said nobody on his staff found 4 billion laying around, so he believes it's definitely in a pocket. I say Ebbers and Sullivan come easily to mind.
I'll ride it out (like I have a choice) and see what happens. Layoffs this week are slated to hit today, tomorrow, and Friday.
On the bright side, pay-hikes for the survivors have been approved for next year.
