You're right. Up to now they couldn't do that. But, this Republican Administration can throw you in the slam, keep you there indefinitely, not allow you access to the courts.
All that's required is that they want to do it.
In spite of the Bill of Rights. Any of the amendments. Free speech? Sure, you can talk to the bars, the wall. You ain't seeing an attorney.
I think you have the right to be mad. This sounds a bit like the USSR or Germany.
