GWB can SAY you said that. Guess who you will be able to tell you didn't? Did you ever read of Padilla saying that?

There are laws. No one says he has to go free. Charge him. But now GWB has taken away what made our country great - the Bill of Rights. Gone, at the president's whim. Doesn't scare you, though, as long as you can buy a Mac and thumb your nose at Bill Gates.

But then again, you're afraid of having to drink coffee at the point of a gun. And it doesn't bother you that your kids and wife could be held in a Navy brig without ever being able to tell a judge they weren't enemies. Go figure.

The present conservative view of the Bill of Rights as "optional at extra cost" only for those people GWB likes is beyond me.

Lot's of great Americans have died for over 200 years to protect what GWB with the support of those constitution-hating conservatives have taken away in one fell swoop.

And they say they love their country. Don't like to pay for their country, don't like to have the freedoms their country guarantees. Do like killing people.

Hard to understand.
