Two little words, stuck in the middle of a phrase:
"... One Nation 'Under God', Indivisible ..."

There is, absolutely, no harm in repeating these words. A child may do so, to the point where harm may be inflicted, but just to finally shut the little repeater up.

You know what the next couple words are, right?

"... With Liberty ..."

So, how free are we? No bounds to our freedom have been set forth in the Pledge. Are we free to -- rewrite the Pledge? As individuals, small groups, even whole communities -- yes. Yes, we are. Go for it, B.

If it's all the same to you, though, I like my Pledge just he way it it's always been. ...And ya know what? That's my right. Maybe I should see if Justin can add the words to the top of the Current Events page...

"I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Painfully revolting, isn't it?

Ah, give 'em a little air and the brainwashed tykes'll recover just fine.
