So, you'll have a bunch of judges...

appointed (no doubt for life) by whom? And accountable to no one, right? So, when the inevitable happens and there's a miscarriage of justice, the accused has no recourse, right? Or when a judge proves corrupt, there is no way to discipline him because he is accountable to no one, right?

Good grief, why would anyone be willing to set up a court system that is answerable to no one? That just defies all reason. As Lord Acton pointed out, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." These judges and this court will have absolute power and you think this is a good thing?

The historian Santana pointed out that "those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." History is full of examples of unchecked power being abused.
