If nothing else, this kind of thing shows the real motivations of public education bureaucrats: they would rather see their power preserved and their monopoly maintained, than to see kids get a good education in schools that their parents would prefer. The "concern" about religious education and the constitution is a transparent sham.

This will continue to be addressed state-by-state, now that it has been established that vouchers are legal on a Federal level.
