Why can't people accept that a one-man wrecking crew like Sadam can literally come out of nowhere...As I said below, he is perfectly capable of consolidating his power base without the help of, and even in spite of, the United States.

I guess we've so bought into "moral equivelance" that we can't ever lay the blame where it actually belongs: with Sadam Hussain and the baath Party which he leads.

P.S. I won't be surprised when some historical revisionist attempts to blame the rise of Nazi Germany in the 1930's on the evil capitalist ways of the United States.
