...as you can see, I lurk constantly, and keep an eye on things.
Mostly I've been obsessed with other things lately, though I have to admit to a certain lack of energy about debating the Rightists here...because it's debate, and not discussion. I want answers, and there are none in debate, only defense/offense/defense...ad nauseum.
The times put a damper on my enthusiasm, too. How does a citizen of a self-governing society discharge his duty to examine goverment actions and policy under a microsocope when the Grand Inquisitor Herr Ashcroft has equated that responsibility with treason?
The times, they are a ugly.
