What will the Left coast do?

Continue to encourage immigration which leads to urban sprawl and destruction of the environment? or will they at some point attempt to limit immigration?

My bet is that they will continue the policy of encouraging immigration: The environment can't be allowed to get in the way of a leftist vote factory...An its a leftist vote factory that will have more and more representatives in Washington as the polpulation explodes in the future...

The best thing about the population explosion in California is that we will be able to see first hand if the environmentalists are correct in their arguments against economic expansion and urban sprawl: Will California's resourses run out? or will Capitalism find a way to cope with the situation. (And will California's increasingly left-leaning politicians allow Capitalism to find market based solutions to the problem?)

My bet: Capitalism will find a way to cope. Even if it must go underground (black market) to do so.
