In 1990, Iraq invaded Koweit and the world reacted and the UN supported the reaction and Saddam left Kuweit.
But the US stayed in Saudi Arabia, which angered more and more locals who got organized and secretly planned the most devastating terrorist attack in history last year.

Afghanistan was also cleaned of its atrocious regime, also under the UN blessing.

But now, I read a poll indicates 3/4 of the Kuweitis consider OBL a hero.

The US is ready to start preemptive attacks, which greatly inspires Putin who wants to do the same in Georgia where the Chechen rebels are hiding.
If the US starts with a preemptive war, the UN will be completely undrmined and Pandora's box will be open with wars everywhere....

Ha the good old times of the cold war; at least it refrained everybody.
Now, the US is halfway around the globe to Iraq and the Iraqis only have short range rockets so the US can shout loudly, without fearing Saddam.
