I actually tend to agree with most of your predictions, although I don't think they will take over Taiwan, and I don't think the rest of the world will "flock" to them. For what? Food? Technology? Protection?
China has a ways to go to becoming a free nation, but even the most rampant anti-communist would have to admit that today's China is not the China of the Cultural Revolution.

I'm having a good time watching them trying to keep a lid on the Internet.
There's no particular reason to attack China, barring some major military move on their part. It has been to our advantage that the Chinese culture by its nature has not been expansionist*, although there is no guarantee this will always be the case. Although they have nuclear weapons, their leadership may be communist, but (so far) they're not crazy, and they have already demonstrated that they are not likely to use them by virtue of the simple fact that they haven't.
Now North Korea would be something else again.
And I am rooting for their space program. Hell, I'm rooting for EVERYBODY'S space program.
*If they had, the whole damn planet would be Chinese by now. They didn't take over the world 600 years ago because they just plain didn't want to.
