That's happening every minute of every day of every week in every medium-sized and larger town in the US. They aren't caught on tape very often.
It's tragic. Overstressed and overwhelmed people taking it out on helpless kids. (And, if it were up to me, those overstressed and overwhelmed people would be publically caned if they touched a kid. Some things just need stopping, fast.)
However, the programs which might teach better coping skills are the kind the conservatives kill first. I'm sure you can recognize that. They don't work all that well, and they do work for SOME people. SOME kids have an easier time of it, if ALL don't.
Truly tragic.
