A who's who entertainment, education and political sleazeballs...

mostly ex-famous ones whose names are diminishing from the public eye and they are just following along the latest mucous trail of the leftist propaganda creature, so as to reclaim whatever notoriety they can.

Protesting is always good publicity when your star is dimmer than a penlight with ten year old Evereadys in it.

The ex-famous ones have less or nothing to lose and more to gain by protesting.

Here's more analysis (for free!) from someone traine to observe these things:

The first document you linked to with some names in BOLD while other less familiar names in small type - means the organization does not value all members equally. Indeed they show that the primary motivation of such an organization is as to foster "celebrity worship" i.e. "Golly! Robert Altman and Danny Glover signed on well golly gee they're famous! Maybe Saddam and Bin Laden are good guys after all! Duh. I'm gonna sign up, yes I am, that's what I'm gonna do. Yes sir."

Using celebrities to sell political views means they are directing their assault against the weak-minded of the populace - a class of mentalities I will call "the Enquirer intellectual".

Celebrities are on the whole "less educated" and teachers are on the whole "less experienced" than folks living in the real world. The two often are paired together by the left very well. The educators use the entertainment industry to further their agenda and the entertainment industry use the left's agenda to help further their careers and gather free publicity.

Indeed, the uneducated hollywood crowd often feel guilty about their lack of education and eagerly embrace anything coming out of politicized educational institutions.

The right doesn't offer the entertainment industry any significant clout or any free press - indeed they recognize that some uneducated bimbo or director rallying behind them could prove detrimental.

I could go on - but I think I agree with your sentiments - why bother? You already have the faithful protesters all riled up and I don't want to be the one who goes around rubbing salt into obvious cankering sores.

Our work is done here....
