I do fly off the handle now and then. Maybe you can understand my position when my most reasoned and documented arguments--and it's a LOT harder to generate those than the simple "you idiot!" comments--are sluffed off by those who have their minds made up and don't want to be inconvenienced with facts, never mind opposing opinions.

My first post on this thread was a result of that frustration. I was originally going to dissect the NION statement as best I could, but at that time thought, "what's the point of doing the research, parsing the sentences, and translating the Rampartspeak? It's not like I'm getting paid for this, and when was the last time anyone ever said, "Holy smokes, I didn't think of it like that. You're right!'" Heck, in ANY political argument, has that ever happened anyway?

Later I settled down, and seeing that you were reading the thread, thought it might be worth some trouble after all.
