Re: Free Iraq from Saddam
Let's see...if the purpose is to free Iraq from Saddam and put a pro US democratic governement in Iraq, then the last thing to hope is for oil to go down in cost.
After all, a pro-western regime will want the good for its population: increase living standards, create an important healthy educated middle-class society.
This will mean at least stabilize or even increase oil prices. After all, it's the Iraqi population the new Iraqi government will be accountable to, not the US population.
