Re: Divide and Conquer

Hi Lindy,

Oh, get down off your soapbox SDAI and wipe that drool off your chin.

Drool? That's Campbell's chicken soup - the best depression-era food around.

You seem to want to make yourself look better by claiming your High Republicanship.....like no-one else out there deserves to live and breathe unless they're rich, educated and a capitalist at heart.

Hmmm. Is that what I said? Perhaps that is how it came off.

Spare me.

Only if you're republican, rich, educated and a capitalist at heart.

;-)

There are plenty of humans on this planet and you're just going to have to learn to live with them.

Hmmm. Did I tell you about visiting India? Well here we were on assignment in Bangalore, and it's hot. The homeless hordes are sleeping in the street in the shade of the hotels awnings. I see a ruckus up ahead and think it may be trouble. Several men with a big swatch and a cart are coming down the street.
They are whacking each and every person they meet until they cry out in pain.

The ones that don't cry out in pain are dead - and are loaded onto the cart.

Yes, this phases no one down there. The folks with me were freaked out though.

Human life as worthless as it can come. No tears, no pity. Picking up bodies daily as if they were dead rats.

Sure I can live with people - yet places like India are the byproduct of ignorance. I won't support ignorance and, where I can, I will always try to bring intelligence.

These folks don't fear nuclear war - they look forward to it. They want to see their population thinned out. Death is all around them every minute of every day. Fallout and halflives are concepts beyond all but a few.

Send the anticapitalist kids down there to tell them how good they have it without McDonalds and Citigroup. Tell them "no war for oil." Have them chant "Down with Bush!" See what sort of a response they will get from the "street cleaners" in one of the world's most populated nations.

They'll be very lucky if they don't end up on the cart.

Good morning Lindy,

;-)
