I voted for him the first term, but certainly not the second. I knew it could only get worse -- and it did. With all the preparation the old admin gave Middle Eastern terror organizations, WTC was just Clinton’s parting climax (pardon the use of the term).

Believe it or not, Lindy. Even genocide requires time to bear fruit. The ultimate fault, of course, belongs to al-Qai’da -- but I think Clinton knows that it was he who allowed this to build, and finally to happen.

As for safe, Bush has done more for national security in the past 12 months than Clinton managed across 8 years of diddling in the Oval Office.
