Re: Bankrupublicans - ha ha.

Nice try Robert...

The economy was undone because of thousands of greedy twenty-somethings from northern california and some forty-something VC's from CA & bankers from NY who went on a bogus IPO rampage creating worthless companies and then selling them to the investment firms (and subsequently the public) for anywhere from 50-100 million a pop.

They looted the economy to the tune of BILLIONS, robbed the public, and all the tech-hangers-on employees of these bogus companies with their stock options in lieu of cash which would make them all "millionaires" (since the companies never actually sold anything but derived their income from stock sales) were hung out to dry because they weren't top-tier feeders, now whine about George Bush and his "war".

Enron - ha! I laugh at the folks who point at Enron as the epitome of greed. They ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING - there were HUNDREDS of companies which DID NOTHING other than put up a website - accrued no sales and yet the twenty-something and his VC backers walked with millions in their pockets after having looted the idiot-investing-public.

The stock market is tanking because all these companies were utterly worthless. Zip. NADA. Zilch. Now a burned public says "Stocks? I'll pass thanks." in large part due to the actions of the greedy leftist "socially sensitive" northern california scam-artists now sitting pretty on the nation's investment money.

All those "Brick and Mortar" companies which were so "passe" and "outdated" - were at least REAL. The rest were a bunch of kiddy-looters believing they were all "entitled" to be millionaires.

"In the future everyone will be a millionaire," said a young CEO in Fortune magazine when asked about his young age and quick IPO wealth before his company has made any sales "you are just going to have to get used to it!"

To quote Bowser: "Heh. Heh."

To point the finger at George Bush or even Clinton and say he tanked the stock markets is preposterous. The economy surged on bogus stocks created in Northen California - and now is equally deflated, with the added reward - a skepticism and distrust of ALL stocks and a desire not to get burned like before.

That's the "IPO boom" legacy -a scamfest extraordinaire. To say that Bush tanked the economy so the CIA and FBI don't have to pay as much for tech employees is creative - but laughable. That's revisionist history. You don't have to look to DC for the failing economy you can look just down the street.

I can name some looter VC's and some fraudulent CEO's names if you want to go protest the state of the economy outside their homes or offices...almost all of them are not far away from you. Just make sure they don't hit you with their Brabus Mercedes or Koenig Diablo Roadsters on their way out of their lots.

"Bankrupublicans"

Heh. Heh.

Thanks....that's a good one!
