This Al Queda bombing attack in Bali was a huge miscalculation
Al Queda fronts in Indonesia have threatened to attack Western interests if the US goes to war against Iraq, and now they pull off this horrible atrocity in Bali.
It will help refocus America's European and other allies on the war on terrorism, instead of bickering with the US on differences in policy over Iraq. Bush doesn't have to say a word this week about the war on the terror state of Iraq being a necessary and logical extension of the war on terrorism - Al Queda seems to be making the argument, quite effectively, for him.
