Also, pro-god folks are constantly confusing Evolution with Darwinian Evolution. Things have changed a lot since Darwin, and it’s not merely a matter of eat or be eaten. We have since discovered a grace to the flows of time and Evolution, and it remains possible that Intelligent Design may have a place with it.

Intelligent Design states those spores you speak of did not merely happen, but were made to happen -- designed to happen. The evidence for Intelligent Design are purely philosophical, whereas the evidence for Evolution are purely physical. Intelligent Design is a belief, one requiring little hard evidence and scads of faith, whereas Evolution is science, one requiring scads of evidence, and a little faith. Intelligent Design could be the design of gods, or merely the trial and error attempts of a vastly intelligent, yet very mortal, life form -- or just a stupid mistake as in the spoof I had posted above. Even if it is eventually shown to be a factual occurrence, Intelligent Design will, in the end, boil down to Evolution in progress.
