<Every U.S. citizen has the Constitutional right to vote wrong, Tom, and to be counted for it.
The Constitution on voting:
Article XV, Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
Article XIX. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
Amendment XXIV, Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.
Amendment XXVI, Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.
Don't see any special protection for idiots, parasites, felons, or anyone else you wouldn't trust to decide on an ice cream flavor, much less selection of national leadership.
We live in a nation with a government that long ago burst the bonds of the Constitution and now has almost limitless control over our lives and economy. Our President is not in charge of mule-drawn cannons any more, but multi-megaton fusion weapons.
It's bad enough that any dimbulb with a pulse can vote on who runs this outfit, without a political party doing its level best to make sure a maximum number of voters are dimbulbs.
